Comprehensive tree felling along a 20 km medium voltage transmission line located in the Stołowe Mountains Nature Reserve

How? Challenges?
In two stages:

  • Stage 1 - 6 months of administrative preparation (obtaining permission from the Ministry of Environmental Protection) preceded by a tree stand inventory
  • Stage 2 - 1 month of felling works carried out by 15 arborists
It was not easy:

  • The transmission line was built in 1936 with the wires fixed to the original wooden poles.
  • Giant beech trees 35-40 m high closing their crowns over the transmission line.
  • Works carried out in the strict Reserve of the Stołowe Mountains.
  • Afforestation - 80% forest cover.

 

 

What was the outcome?
This contract led to the first professional film production in which the company presents its strengths.
